Course Description:
This course is for students to learn the content of PMI Geometry. It is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. It provides a background in Euclidean Geometry, focusing on using deductive reasoning and proofs to develop a conceptual understanding of geometric properties. Topics include points, lines & planes; angles; triangles; similar triangles & trigonometry; congruent triangles; circles; analytic geometry; transformations; quadrilaterals; area of figures; 3-D geometry; and probability.
Prerequisite: Algebra I or Instructor Approval
